We don’t know about you, but this is is definitely one of the best rice dish you’ve ever laid your eyes on. It’s so good you’ll come back for more till there’s nothin’ left!

It’s the Jollof Rice! A super popular West African rice dish made from rice cooked in a rich blend of plum tomatoes, sweet romano peppers and scotch bonnet.

The sauce is also made with an aromatic mix of onion-infused oil, bay leaves, and our house-blend curry, so it not only tastes good but smells great too.

Every bite is an intense flavour experience that brings not only goodness but nostalgia as well. It’s savoury, tangy and a little bit spicy but over all just purely delicious.

This dish brings out the love of our culture, the feeling of belongingness and community. The feeling of preserving what’s ours and sharing it with everyone.

Rice, water, tomato puree, scotch bonnet, bay leaves, thyme, salt, rapeseed oil.

Seasoning used contains salt, flavour enhancer (monosodium glutamate), wheat starch, garlic 5.7%, maltodextrin, sugar, sunflower oil, onion 2%, spice, potato 0.5%, flavours (with wheat), colorant (E-101)

We like to keep things simple, so we ship all your dishes frozen to keep them fresh & free from chemicals and preservatives.

They are packaged and insulated properly with commercial-grade denim insulation that perfectly regulates the temperature and keeps your dish cool for hours even if it’s left outside. There’s also ice packs in there to keep everything extra cool.

All orders will arrive at your door every Tuesday or Friday between 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Our partners will also drop you an email or text 1 hour in advance to let you know that your parcel is arriving.

Currently out of the house? Don’t worry about it! Our planet-friendly insulated box can keep your food safe and chilled for hours! (Until 9:00 PM)

Make sure to inform our delivery partners on where you’d like your parcel to be left at.

Q: Is this vegan friendly?

A: If you're looking for a whole new exciting flavour that's vegan friendly, then you're on the right product page as our Jollof long grain rice is made with all natural plant-based ingredients.

Q: How do I store my meals? Can I freeze it?

A: Immediately after receiving your delivery, unpack your box, take out the delicious food and pop ‘em straight in your freezer to keep ‘em fresh until you’re ready to enjoy them. And if you can wait that long, you can keep your meals in the freezer for up to 6 months. We also advise you to refrain from freezing your meals if you’ve already put them in the fridge.

Q: What time should I expect my orders to arrive?

A: Our ready meals are delivered to you by our partners every Tuesday & Friday. They’ll also let you know when they’ll be arriving by dropping you a text or an email 1 hour in advance. But usually, just expect them around 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

How to safely heat your Afrisian meals

Sometimes it's easier just to watch what to do.

Microwave

For those in a hurry, or just simply like the convenience.

Step 1: Remove the sleeve and pierce the film.

Step 2: Place inside the microwave and heat for 15 mins (Frozen) or 6 mins (Defrosted) on
800W until piping hot.

Step 3: Leave to stand for 1 minute before removing the film.

Step 4: Serve and Enjoy!

Stove Top

For those who don't have access to ovens, microwaves, or simply just want to customise the dish.

*For best results, please defrost before heating.

Step 1: Remove sleeve & film.

Step 2: Pour into an appropriately sized saucepan.

Step 3: On the stovetop, heat on medium till piping hot throughout. Stir occasionally.

Step 4: Serve and Enjoy!

Oven

The best way to reheat most of your favourite Afrisian dishes.

*For best results, cook from frozen.

Step 1: Preheat your oven for 10 mins on 200C / 180C fan / Gas mark (xx)

Step 2: Remove the sleeve and film, then evenly place on to a tray.

Step 3: Bake for 10-20 minutes or until piping hot throughout. Stir occasionally.

Step 4: Serve and Enjoy!

Now let us tell you about one of the best rice dishes you’ve ever laid your eyes on! Rice that’s so good, it’ll make you come back for more until there’s nothing left!

It’s a rich blend of the freshest plum tomatoes, sweet romano peppers, and scotch bonnets for that classic West African heat.

It’s the well loved, super popular rice dish that you can eat on its own, the Jollof rice! But made better the Afrisian way!

It tastes so good, smells so good and feels just like how your mama used to make it!

We use rice from local farmers in African and Caribbean countries who spent their whole lives cultivating this amazing rice that we oh, so love!

They are then slowly and expertly cooked to guarantee perfect individual grains. This technique produces such delicate and flavourful rice that even long-grain rice lovers can enjoy!

The sauce is cooked with onion infused oil together with bay leaves and our secret house blend curry. It’s then left to simmer on a low fire for over an hour to intensify its essence and flavour.

Now don’t tell me your mouth didn’t water from reading those sentences. Ours were and oh boy it’s making us crave some right now, maybe we’ll go have some later, you should too!

We know, there are other Jollof Rice out there, but wait till you’ve had some of ours!

Every bite is just an intense flavour explosion that brings back memories of good times and happy days. It’s tangy, it’s savoury and a little bit spicy with delicious aromas brought by the mixed herb seasoning!

You can taste all the components of this dish with every mouthful and pairing it up with some Afrisian Moi moi or fried fish would make it even better!
